by Warren Strain: I have been reluctant to post anything related to these three guys, as our agency policy is to not identify employees in officer-involved shoot…ings (clearly, it’s the worst kept secret in MHP history). Since joining DPS in 2000, I have repeatedly spoken of my deep for respect and admiration these men and women. Daily they face situations that most of us would not and could not handle. They have a matter of seconds to make life and death decisions. Without law enforcement and public safety, little else matters. One thing is for sure about last Saturday, God was watching out for these three guys. Godspeed!
