The Santee Baptist Church honors all law enforcement officers annually.  Agencies in attendance were Mississippi
Highway Patrol, area Sheriff’s Departments, Constables, Judges, area Fire Departments, area Police Departments, A.T.F. Agents, and Drug Enforcement.  Law Enforcement agencies came from all areas of Mississippi and even a few officers from Louisiana.  I am not sure if everyone came for the delicious food, warm hospitality, deserved recognition, or the great entertainment.  Beautiful music was provided by the choir, youth program, and Law Officers.  Entertainment was performed by the Cross Country Comedy Team.     Fallen Officers and their families were recognized and honored.   Brother Tony Bagley read scripture and we prayed for all law enforcement.  A great time was had by all.

Judge Mike Randolph quoted John 15:13, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends”.  He stated that he has great respect and is a large proponent for law enforcement officers because they lay down their lives
every day for complete strangers.

Thank you to Santee Baptist Church and a special thanks to MHP Retired Trooper Dewitt Napier.  Mr. Napier and his wife Margie
work with the Santee congregation to make this day possible.
