Recently, our very own Mississippi Trooper Wayne Wasson (on right) went bow hunting with his son.  From the picture of the antlers on that deer, it looks like a pretty good trophy for the father/son duo!  However, rumor has it that it was young, little Wasson who got that deer.  Hmmmm.  That’s not quite the story that Trooper Wasson tells around his fellow Mississippi Bureau of Investigation agents or SWAT team members!  Have no fear, we have submitted this photograph for further forensic evidence.  It seems that the bow is made by Disney and was recently on sale at Target for $10.99.  That deer head you see in the picture was taken off the wall from a local taxidermy so that this entire scene could be staged.  Don’t worry Trooper Wasson, your secret is safe with us - I’m sure you’ll never ever ever hear another word about it from your fellow troopers!  If we are proven wrong, based on further forensic evidence from this father/son photo, then we stand corrected and say - CONGRATS to the Wassons for a nice trophy deer!
