Prayers Needed for Trooper Joey Miller

by D Echols on 09.11.07

Trooper Joey Miller and K-9 Partner UPDATE: Joey is finally back home recovering. He still has some complications from the swimming accident. Doctor’s aren’t certain when he’ll be able to go back to work – so your prayers and support are still needed for Joey and Paige. After talking with Joey the other day, his great sense of humor is still very much in tact, and he’s eager to get back. The MSTA Board wanted to pass along news about Trooper Joey Miller from Troop E and ask for your prayers and support for Joey and his family. Several days ago, he was involved in a swimming accident at a local lake. Trooper Miller almost drowned when he suffered extreme cramps in his legs while swimming. He was very quickly revived and pulled to safety. While still suffering from some complications from the accident, we wanted to keep you informed so that you might please keep Joey and his wife, Paige, and their family in your thoughts and prayers. For updates on his condition, please contact the MSTA Office. Miller is a member of the SOG unit and just recently joined the K-9 team. He’s pictured here with his new partner. “Miller Time,” here’s wishing you a very speedy recovery!
