The Happy Highway Patrolman!Tonight, I got an email from someone who got a ticket up in Troop G. It appears from the email that this trooper was exceptionally nice while pulling the man over for apparently not wearing a seat belt. Here’s what the email said: “Just wanted to share these photos of one of the coolest troopers I’ve ever had the pleasure of being pulled over by. On August 6 in Columbus, Mississippi, on Highway 82, I was stopped by this trooper because it appeared as though I was not wearing a seatbelt when I passed him. (I’m sorry, did this guy say that he PASSED a trooper?) It was perfectly cool with me because I was so intrigued with the bike thing that I asked if I could take a few photos to show my sons. He kindly obliged, and I got some really wonderful shots out of the deal. It was really the best trooper stop of my driving life (Did you pick up that maybe this guy’s been stopped before by troopers?) Signed, Paul.” We’re proud to say that Trooper Tim Davidson practices the Trooper Motto of courtesy, service and safety! It speaks volumes if someone is getting a ticket, and the trooper exhibits such courtesy during the stop that the violator is more focused on that trooper’s demeanor than the pending ticket. We’re proud of you, Trooper Tim Davidson keep up the good work. You’re a great good-will-ambassador for the Highway Patrol!
